Innovator Inspired by Legacy and Social Transformation

    • Mr. Ranjith B.R. was born into a family with a profound legacy of social impact and education in the rural heartland of Palakkad, Kerala, India. His family's school, founded in the 1930s, has been continuously operating for nearly a century—a remarkable achievement rooted in a deep commitment to empowering marginalized communities.

    • In the early 1900s, members of the  community, to which Ranjith belongs, were systematically excluded from accessing education in Kerala. Defying these barriers, his grandfather, Mr. K.V.K. Unni, took a bold step by establishing a school at a time when such an act was both socially radical and culturally resisted. His mission was clear: to provide education to those who had long been denied it.

    • This was Ranjith’s motivation to start some thing useful to the society. This powerful legacy of challenging social norms and building institutions for public good deeply shaped Ranjith’s worldview. Growing up within a family that stood as a beacon of resilience, reform, and education, he felt a strong calling to create something equally impactful for future generations.

    • The inheritance of this socio-educational courage became the foundation upon which Ranjith built his innovations. It gave him not only the determination to overcome structural resistance but also the vision to design technologies and business models that serve the broader needs of society. Today, his work in food processing and agricultural technology stands as a modern continuation of his family's century-old mission—empowering communities through access, equity, and innovation.

“No matter where you are from, with a zeal and a bigger-than-life vision, you can bring your dreams into reality and help humanity prosper and grow by leaps and bounds.”

    • Mr. Ranjith B.R.'s Contribution to Enhancing Food Safety and Reducing the food inflation in developed countries (USA, EU, Australia, Russia, etc.) Mr. Ranjith B.R. has conducted in-depth research into the challenges facing the Integrated Pest Management (IPM) program in the Indian chilli market. His findings highlight a critical issue: the IPM program currently achieves a success rate of only around 50%, primarily due to its limited ability to consistently keep pesticide residue levels within the stringent limits set by USFDA, EU, and FSSAI standards. As a result, farmer participation in the IPM program has been steadily declining, driven by concerns over reduced harvest success and the inability to meet export-quality benchmarks. In response to this issue, Mr. Ranjith developed an innovative technology capable of effectively reducing pesticide residues in IPM-grown chillies—even when residue levels slightly exceed international safety thresholds. His solution does not stop at chillies; the same technology has been successfully applied across a wide range of agricultural commodities including spices, pulses, and staples.
    • This breakthrough holds immense potential for both producers and global consumers. For developed countries, which often import food products from India and other agricultural economies, Mr. Ranjith's innovation could play a pivotal role in lowering food inflation. By increasing the volume of export-compliant agricultural products without compromising food safety, this technology supports stable supply chains and helps ensure affordable, residue-compliant food products for international markets

Mr. Ranjith: Reviving India’s Mom-and-Pop Stores Through Innovation and Exclusivity

    • India’s traditional mom-and-pop stores (Kirana stores) have long been the backbone of its retail economy. However, the rapid growth of MNC e-commerce platforms and organized retail chains is threatening their survival. These larger players are increasingly taking over market share, often at the expense of small local stores, draining both revenue and consumer loyalty from these deeply rooted community businesses. But one visionary entrepreneur, Mr. Ranjith, is on a mission to reverse this trend—not with subsidies or sentiment, but through technology, innovation, and strategic business planning.

    The Innovation: Adi PR Technology

    • Mr. Ranjith has developed a proprietary technology called Adi PR, which effectively reduces low-level pesticide residues from IPM (Integrated Pest Management) agricultural products. This technology has already been applied to 119 products, spanning spices, pulses, and staple foods, resulting in over 300 SKUs (Stock Keeping Units) of cleaner, safer food products. These products are not being offered to multinational e-commerce giants or organized retail chains.

The Business Model: Exclusivity + Hyperlocal Empowerment

    • Mr. Ranjith is disrupting the disruptors with a hyperlocal strategy. Here's how: Each of these 300 SKUs will be exclusively distributed to only one mom-and-pop store within a one-kilometre radius.
    • This exclusivity creates a unique value proposition for local stores, allowing them to attract premium health-conscious customers who currently buy from MNCs.
    • These stores will then be converted into dark stores as part of Mr. Ranjith’s digital retail network, AllKirana—enabling faster delivery, better inventory control, and online ordering for local customers.

    Economic Impact: Money Stays Local

    • Instead of allowing profits to flow out of India through international corporations, this model ensures that value creation and economic benefit stay within local communities. The mom-and-pop stores, once under threat, now become empowered nodes in a modern, sustainable, and inclusive supply chain.

The Saviour of a Dying Industry

    • Through Adi PR technology, strategic product exclusivity, and the AllKirana platform, Mr. Ranjith is not just saving mom-and-pop stores—he’s redefining their role in the Indian retail ecosystem. By combining local trust with cutting-edge innovation, he is proving that small businesses can thrive in the digital age.

Mr. Ranjith stands as a true saviour of India’s traditional retail industry, offering a blueprint for inclusive growth in a globalized economy.

By doing this, we solve two major challenges:

    1. Standardizing food quality globally – ensuring that everyone, regardless of geography, has access to safe and nutritious food that meets international benchmarks.
    2. Making food affordable for all – offering high-quality products at prices that people in both developing and developed countries can afford.

This is more than a business—it's a movement to create food equity across the world.
